So whether you experience something you like or would like to share an impression, please do so.

  1. So far so good! Great team...training OK but what are all these stories about mice in the building? I just hate mice.

  2. Breakfast was great today!

I wish we had a blog in my previous job.

  3. The mice issue must be a concern to all of us new and old staff. With all these flu and viruses around. Something must be done, other than just placing traps.
These mice could spend the night on your keyboard and the next day you could easily get their shit in your fingers.
Come on guys, do something about it.

  4. There's so much to learn, I'm glad there is a blog where we can say what we want. I left my previous job 'cause the work environment was terrible and I had a horrible female manager.

  5. Now seeing that mgrs are so precise at making sure things are done a certain way and are always stressing how important protocol is, it shocked me to learn there was a bomb threat today and surprisingly no evacuation was pursued. While I worked at my desk mgmt was outside investigating.. Now why wasn't I outside also? What justifies mgmt potentially safeguarding their lives and disregarding mine and my colleagues? Isn't it protocol to advise us regardless if it's a false alarm? It really makes me question the sanity of those in charge and how safe I really am everyday.. I get it's long wekend but who the hell cares if evacuating may impead ur ability to leave early! I'm disgusted!

  6. FRO is no different than any other government agency or even private sector company. You have good and bad employees, you have ambitious ones and others who are lazy. I've seen co-workers show up late to work, spend an hour posting messages on Facebook, chat with friends on the phone, take off for lunch then do it all over again in the afternoon. Nothing should surprise you when it comes to a government agency though. We can't hold employees to a higher standard if we don't actually demand it day in & out. Few companies are actually committed to quality work anymore, so FRO isn't the only one who allows corruption and unqualified people to be promoted, that's just the way it goes.
